U12PP Travel to Kitchener
The Pretty Wings Web Design Provincial Petites started a little slow in Kitchener on Saturday. Perhaps they were thinking too much of Santa coming, and not about the ringette game at hand. Despite the apparent lack of communication on the ice in the beginning, most of the play was in Kitchener’s end.
Kitchener broke out of their end early in the first period and scored. The Stingers seemed to regroup, and again came on strong with back checking and dominated the play. Carly scored 2 before the 1st period was over. Mitchell led the game at half-time. The girls continued to play strong in the second period. Most of the play continued to be in Kitchener's zone. Mackenzie scored a little over 5 minutes into the period, and Carly followed with her 3rd goal soon after. Erika, Mackenzie, and Samantha both had an assist each. The shots on net were 48-6 for Mitchell. Merry Christmas!!!
