U12 PP Control Game Against Elora-Fergus
The Pretty Wings Web Design U12 PP team hosted the Elora-Fergus Edge on Thursday evening. Mitchell controlled the game from the on-set. The girls started scoring a little over a minute into the game and continued to score throughout. The Stingers outskated the Edge to the ring, and the back checking and defense prevented Elora from developing any offense at all. In the winding seconds of the game, the Edge made a final push into the offensive end getting past the Stingers at the blueline. They took a shot in the last few seconds and scored, ruining the Stingers shutout. Goals were scored by Avree, Erika (2), Carly (2), Kaylin (2), and Ainsleigh. Assists were by Khloee, Carly, Kaylin, and Sam. Shots on net were 33-7 in favour of the Stingers.
